Akvile moved to Scotland from Lithuania where she had a background in interiors. After initially working in hotels when she came to Aberdeen, she saw that 33 Justice Street was available for rent and didn’t hesitate to set up a shop there in 2018.

The premises now serves as Akvile’s stylish workshop and studio, where she runs embroidery and sewing services for her many customers. She loves her studio, and the Castlegate, and feels that she’s made a home here.
