A workshop for art
Peacock’s ‘Workshop for Art’, now ‘Peacock & The Worm’, at 21 Castle Street, has become one of the city’s most active cultural organisations, running a print workshop and gallery space for artists since 1974.
Founded by a group of local printmakers spearheaded by Gray’s School of Art graduate, Arthur Watson, Peacock’s has hosted artists from around the world, as well as celebrated local artists such as painter and screen-printer Frances Walker.
